A stimulating environment that promotes independence when possible
Stamford staff aim to give residents as much independence as possible, through a range of activities and food options as well as getting family and friends involved to help give residents a homely experience.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
We have a variety of spacious lounges for residents to relax and socialise in as well as reminiscence and sensory rooms to help those with dementia adjust. There is also a picturesque garden that residents can help tend to.
Shared areas around the home
There are plenty of inviting spots where residents can socialise or relax. We have an interactive sensory room, a reminiscence space – which is great for engaging dementia residents – a cinema room, salon, and a choice of lounges.
Relax while indulging yourself
Our salon is fully equipped to provide residents with a pampering session.
Private spaces for those special occasions
There is plenty of spaces that can be used as rooms for those special occasions.
There’s no typical day at Stamford, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
