A smart Georgian building in a very pleasant neighbourhood
Once a boys’ school, our home has been extended but still has the original high ceilings and big sash windows to let the light flood in. Comfy sofas, gathered around elegant fireplaces, are a great place to welcome visitors.
Great places to socialise, enjoy an activity or have quiet time
Set among landscaped gardens featuring terraces, patios and lawns, Druid Stoke also has a rockery and ponds with koi carp. Three lounges and a library area provide plenty of scope for relaxation indoors, too.
A lovely spot for fresh air and sunshine
If you’re strolling the grounds or simply putting your feet up in one of the many seating areas, there is plenty of space to enjoy the scenery.
Beautifully decorated and furnished
With pretty soft furnishings, lovely fabrics, stylish furniture and calm colour palette, the only thing left is for residents to add their own touch for homely feel.
Residents can always choose
Residents have the freedom of whether to join in with what’s going on and where they want to sit or otherwise spend their time – in shared spaces, outdoors or quietly in their rooms.
There’s no typical day at Druid Stoke, we arrange plenty to do, both here at the home as well as out and about.
Keeping mind and body active
There are painting workshops led by local artists, our own gardening club, and regular quiz nights.
Special events at the home and beyond
There are always celebrations happening like Christmas pantos, Remembrance Day, Easter, and many other occasions.
Spending time with local children
Our local primary school and a toddlers’ group visit regularly to chat, sing and paint with the residents.

"What a find! Druid Stoke Care Home is a handsome listed building with a sunny garden and is a wonderful care home in every respect. Public rooms and bedrooms are clean and bright. The staff are really caring, friendly, understanding and efficient. There are social activities and daily menu choices and there's a lovely atmosphere from the moment you enter the home. My husband has had three respite stays here and I can't fault the care that is taken of him. Thank you!"

"I cannot rate Druid Stoke and their wonderful staff highly enough. My father came here following surgery and was in the nursing section due to dressings needing to be changed. The improvement in my father during his two-week stay was remarkable and this was definitely down to the care of such wonderful staff who understood him, his needs and went out of their way to ensure he was happy and felt looked after. By the time he left to go home he was walking the corridors waving at other residents and helping with the tea trolley, even doing physio and activities in the day room which I would never have said he would do beforehand. Thank you so much, in time to come if we are looking for care for either of my parents this will be the first place we come to! Thank you"
